The approach I find most useful with individuals is client-focused, refocusing issues and dilemmas while attending fully to the person and their needs in therapy. I begin treatment with an assessment too which allows us to focus our attention on the way the individual conceptualizes their issues. After this initial intake, the we begin to look toward a treatment plan to tune into the needs of the client so that we can target a course of action that will prove most helpful.
