My Approach to Helping
Like many people you struggle with the external and emotional demands of everyday life, sometimes feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, and unsure how to cope. Now you courageously reach out for help and are probably concerned about finding a qualified therapist that is the right fit for you.
Events that affected you in the past may contribute to your struggles in the present. The good news is with therapy it is often possible to gain insights about how the past effects you now, and with that knowledge learn new ways of relating, thinking and behaving to ultimately feel better and stronger. It may also be possible to work with and process the hurts of the past in a way that facilitates healing and creates space for a more hopeful and satisfying present and future.
