My Approach to Helping
I earned a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine after completing my undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo as a double major in Psychology and Sociology. I provide counseling services and mental health skills to people of all ages and backgrounds. I also specialize in Sports Psychology and I am a designated provider for the Philadelphia Eagles. My clinical work utilizes the Eco-Systemic Family Therapy Model, an evidenced-based treatment, to help families, couples, and individuals successfully reach treatment goals.
A common thread across my experience has been working with the specialized needs of children, teens, and adults whose day-to-day lives are impacted by symptoms of anxiety and depression, loss of anger control, a traumatic or stressful event, grief and loss, attention deficit hyperactivity, andor overwhelming stress.
My unique and humanistic approach empowers the client to identify and capitalize on their strengths to overcome challenges and reach personal goals.
