My Approach to Helping

My approach to helping is a holistic one, taking into consideration the body, mind, and spirit of each individual. I believe that we all have a tremendous capacity to heal ourselves with the proper support and guidance.

More Info About My Practice

Accept some insurance. Aetna, Anthem, Blue CrossBlue Shield, Out of Network, Husky and some Employee Assistance Programs.

Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning and Psychotherapy fee per 1 hour session is $130.00. Multiple session packages available at a reduced rate. Could be covered under insurance.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in Pet LossBereavement issues, and I understand on a personal level how devastating the loss of a companion animal can be. Grief needs validation to be worked through, especially with the loss of a pet. Individual sessions and referral to pet loss groups are available.

A significant amount of post graduate training has been in the Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) developed by Richard Schwartz, PhD. For more information about this model of therapy please visit

My other specialty is Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning (EFEL) and Therapy. I've been trained in the EPONAQUEST method. Equine-facilitated Experiential Learning and Therapy are experiential forms of psychotherapy and learning that involve work with horses on the ground. No previous experience with horses is necessary. Some of the benefits of engaging in this type of experiential therapy are an increased sense of self-esteem, and self-confidence. Individuals also acquire practical tools for detecting and changing behavior patterns that inhibit their ability to live authentic and fulfilled lives. For more information on EPONAQUEST International please visit

Trauma Informed Hypnosis (TIH): Certified by the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. TIH incorporates hypnosis and neuroscience to reduce the intense emotional effects of trauma.
