My Approach to Helping
I recognize that family and intimate relationships influence every part of our lives. This William Durant quote, "the family is the nucleus of civilization" summarizes my approach to working with my clients. I use an eclectic approach to help you recognize and change maladaptive family cycles and patterns, and together, we can end these cycles. I understand that many factors may contribute to maladaptive family functioning, including intergenerational trauma, systemic oppression, the stress of modern life, and identity issues. I have a warm, guiding style.
