My Approach to Helping
I take a person-centered and integrated approach while applying science-based practices in order to help clients obtain their goals in counseling, and in life. Most recently, I have become trained in EFT, an evidenced-based approach that is very effective in managing emotions and stress as well as dealing with trauma (past or recent).

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being able to help people in ways that empower the individual to grow, learn, and move on in life. Therapy doesn't have to last forever, and healing can continue on your own after a short time (on average 6-12 weeks) with a therapist.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Find the right therapist for you. Everyone can benefit from therapy but one therapist may not be beneficial for everyone. Find someone that you feel comfortable opening up to, don't just settle with the first therapist that you find.
