My Approach to Helping
I provide therapy services for adults and adolescents and take a tailored approach considering your particular background and cultural context. In my practice I incorporate evidence based practices including CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy) as well as attachment theory. My focus is to approach whatever concern you addressing with warmth and curiosity, not judgment, so that we can collaboratively work toward understanding your emotional needs as well as develop the skills to cope with difficult symptoms and life experiences. It can be intimidating and even scary to start therapy so more than anything I want you to know that there is someone who is experienced and passionate about guiding you through this journey.
