My Approach to Helping
My approach is kind, engaging and objective.
On a daily basis, I help people, just like you, get to "the heart of the matter," and identify the places they feel the most stuck, frustrated, insecure and dissatisfied.
This process can create the experience of a lifetime, one that clears the debris of failed relationships, disappointment, resentment, guilt and unwanted traumatic experiences and allows space for new beginnings, lasting emotional connections and personal fulfillment to take place.
One of the many benefits of personal therapy starts with first increasing your self-awareness and understanding how experiences (in the past or present) affect you in both positive and negative ways. When accompanied with a trusting and unbiased guide it can feel not only manageable, but relieving and encouraging.
I strive to help all of my clients address the areas in their lives that they are having difficulty with, identify attainable solutions and exercise self-forgiveness and grace. Life gets tough and sometimes in order to see through the chaos we need an objective and relatable guide to get over the first few humps of discouragement in order to move on, confident and inspired, to the future we're desperately wanting.

- Girls Young Women
The transition between adolescents and adulthood is a difficult one for young women without a supportive environment to process challenges, self-esteem issues and better understand healthy relationships. For this reason, I've co-created TruthTribe, an experiential community dedicated to transforming girls into extraordinary young women through yoga, mindfulness and positive peer relationships.

Are you a caretaker? Do you put other's first without even realizing it and find yourself depleted, resentful and exhausted. Maybe you're unsure who you are because you've consistently put your dreams off in order to make sure everything else is taken care of. Or, maybe you've found yourself in an unhappy relationship or career and are unsure how to create the changes that you're ultimately desiring. I work with women of all ages breakthrough negative patterns to create fulfilling lives everyday. It's your turn to be the priority and psychotherapy is a great place to start.

In a society and culture that has undervalued the emotional side of men for quite sometime, I have found that a lot of men who come into my practice feel unheard, undervalued and unappreciated causing self-doubt, toxic relationships and internal conflict. My goal is to help create a safe place to explore unmet needs and find clarity and healing past, present and future for a more rewarding and connected life.

I love working with business owners who are creative, insightful, intuitive and motivated to create life long change that enhances their business and personal life. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the unique challenges that come with owning and operating a business and the struggles of maintaining an work life balance.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
The purpose of psychotherapy is a gain new healthy skills to tackle life's most difficult struggles, build a deeper relationship with you and others close to you and move past previous negative themes or patterns in your life that you have had difficulty changing on your own.
As a society, we have the tendency to believe that, "if someone else will just... then we will..." I know this because I am no exception. I once thought that my misery was because of my parents, that if they had of just stayed together then my life would be without pain, confusion, sadness and depression.
I struggled with believing I deserved good things and started to believe that maybe I wasn't worth it...
I then went on to believe that if certain people in my life wouldn't have left, then my life would turn out just the way I had envisioned it to.
I was wrong and I am so thankful for that and this is why:
Knowing that I have more control over my life satisfaction and happiness allows me to feel empowered and actively choose things (people, activities, careers, etc.) that support what it is that will add to my life in positive ways, as opposed to negative ones.
I found this out through my own personal therapy and I can't help but be biased that you can also experience this same insight filled journey to the life you want and desire!
