My Approach to Helping
At The Flourishing Way, we believe that relationships are at the heart of living a fulfilling life. Relationship to ourselves, our loved ones, our work and the world around us impacts who we are and how we show up in our daily life. If one aspect is not working, it can affect everything else. We're here to help you observe, create intentional change and feel better, one step at a time.
On a daily basis, we help people, just like you, get to "the heart of the matter," and identify the places they feel the most stuck, frustrated, insecure, upset, stressed, overwhelmed and dissatisfied (to name a few). We know that it is only in our ability to first see ourselves, with the help of an unbiased skilled listener, that we can then begin to heal and be in choice about who we are and how we life this one life.
This process can create the experience of a lifetime, one that clears the debris of failed relationships, disappointment, resentment, guilt and unwanted traumatic experiences and allows space for new beginnings, lasting emotional connections and personal fulfillment to take place.
One of the many benefits of personal therapy starts with first increasing your self-awareness and understanding how experiences (in the past or present) affect you in both positive and negative ways. When accompanied with a trusting and unbiased guide it can feel not only manageable, but relieving and encouraging.
We strive to help all of our clients address the areas in their lives that they are having difficulty with, identify attainable solutions and exercise self-forgiveness and grace. Life gets tough and sometimes in order to see through the chaos we need an objective and relatable guide to get over the first few humps of discouragement in order to move on, confident and inspired, to the future we're desperately wanting.
