My Approach to Helping
I feel that counseling is my calling and passion, and because of it, my goal is to extend a warm, kind, and welcoming environment in which my clients feel comfortable working through personal challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family conflict, job stress and other life stressors and changes. In my practice, I use a variety of theories and models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Existential and Multicultural approaches.
I believe each person has the ability and capacity to overcome and grow from troubling experiences. It would be my privilege to have an opportunity to help you achieve the life you envision, and to help you cope with troubling experiences andor the mental health challenges you face. Together we can develop, expand and strengthen the skills you already possess to achieve your goals and dreams.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
While Psychotherapy can certainly help you with a myriad of health problems and disorders, psychotherapy is not only good in those cases. Psychotherapy is a tool you can use to get to know yourself better, and objectively plan and achieve a better version of you and your life.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
A therapist should feel to you like a really good friend, or a best friend. Someone you trust enough not to be shy about anything, and you know that they have your best interest at heart. It is important that you understand that a therapist walks with you in difficult times, but that you are the one that leads your life. You have to decide how and where to go, we are only here to help you achieve that.
