My Approach to Helping
Jessica offers individual tailor-made intensive therapy for individuals and couples based on evidence-based best practices. Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Substance Abuse Counselor in training (SAC-IT) and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Jessica holds a Masters degree in Science with a specialization in clinical mental health.
Jessica’s purpose is to encourage clients by creatively communicating truth.
Jessica believes that by providing a supportive encouraging environment for clients, they are able to look inside, draw on their strengths and confront dysfunctions in order to live on purpose and increase quality of life. Each client is individual and unique and has an individual identity and purpose. Part of the therapy journey is to discover individual identity and purpose. We do what we do, and feel what we feel because we think what we think. Part of the therapy journey is to challenge distorted and negative cognitions and replace them with life-affirming positive beliefs which are key to therapeutic healing and growth.
