My Approach to Helping
Happy New Year! It's hard to believe we are entering a whole new year and an entire new decade, isn't it? During this season, you think about your life purpose, meaning, goals. You're starting yet another semester, a new career or job - or having to return to a place you didn't like so much after having some holiday time off.
This time of year is cold and dreary and the winter depression is in full swing. How do you combat seasonal depression? Do you have crying spells, miss work or school? Are you skipping your workouts and eating all the junk food you can grab?
Hello, my name is Anne McCutchen and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Tennessee with over 20 years of experience working as a counselor in Private Practice, for agencies, inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and counseling military service members and their families. My expertise includes a variety of issues, including, but not limited to motivation, self-esteem and confidence, transitions (young adults), depression, anxiety, PTSD, coping skills, anger management, griefloss, bereavement, relationships, communication skills, and career challenges.
Let's work together so you can get to a place of joy and satisfaction in your life! If work or schoolwork is piling up, let's clear a new pathway and create your plan of action...I will help you figure out how to win the fight against that voice in your head that keeps telling you this is all too much. TODAY is the day to feel like yourself again.
