However, I personalize my counseling approach for each and every one of my clients because I understand that we are all unique in our own ways. And I am committed to utilizing the approaches that will be safe and useful for you.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I deeply believe that in order to counseling to work, the working relationship between me and a client has to be safe and built on trust. That's why throughout our work together, I will check in with you consistently to see how the counseling process is going for you and you feel about our working relationship. I understand that therapy and counseling are more than just me imparting knowledge to you. Rather, it is also very much about the support and compassionate guidance that I can offer you, as your guide and companion, on your journey of healing, growth, and self-development.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

It's very normal to wonder how many counseling sessions you will need before embarking on this self-development journey with a professional therapist like me. Every person comes to counseling with his or her own unique set of needs and background. Therefore, therapy can continue as long as it is helpful for you. For some clients, 5 to 10 sessions are enough. For others, counseling can last longer. Sometimes, counseling with me could turn into life coaching, where we focus on helping you live your life to the fullest.
In those cases, clients might stick around longer because they prefer to have a life coach to help them maintain their motivation and receive consistent support and coaching in their pursuit of self-improvement.
