More Info About My Practice
I am a strength-based attachment-oriented therapist who integrates cognitive behavioral, somatic, interpersonal and mindfulness approaches into each therapy session. I utilize Focusing and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you access deeper emotions and underlying needs. As a teacher and psychotherapist, I have guided thousands of students and clients in helping them heal their minds and hearts, to connect better with self and others, to find meaning in their lives, to feel more at home in the world, and to discover renewed strength from within. My healing practice supports a range of conditions that include anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma, co-dependency, grief and loss, and feeling disconnected from oneself and from others. I enjoy working with individuals as well as with couples.
As a first generation Asian American, I am also skilled at working with multicultural issues and intergenerational conflicts.
