My Approach to Helping
I offer a creative, expressive, mind and body approach to therapy with the goal of not only working through your issues; the focus is also on increasing your aliveness, joy, confidence and freedom! I love learning ways to improve health and wellbeing hence, I have extensive education, training and experience in a variety of treatment modalities. Yet, I believe what is most important, is to find the approach that feels best for you!
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I experienced developmental relational trauma and subsequently suffered the painful and damaging consequences. I was blessed to have therapists who were able to foster the growth that I needed in order to recover who I was meant to be and to have the life of my dreams! I now believe that if I did not go through those experiences I would not have grown into the person that I was meant to be. I would not understand my clients as well as I do and I would not be able to provide them with the hope that they too will be able to get through their pain, find meaning and purpose as well as the joy and pleasure that life has to offer!
