My Approach to Helping
It is important to me that each person I work with feels safe, comfortable, and accepted. I consider it an honor to hear your story and empower you during difficult times. My style of working with individuals is holistic in nature, understanding that there can be many causes contributing to a presenting problem or issue. I create a healing space for our work together, and tailor my approach to meet each individual's unique needs. Together, we will create an effective plan that facilitates self-awareness, growth, empowerment, and a healthy change you so desire.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'
What would it feel like to approach treatment with the perspective that deep inside you are already well and whole and have all the answers that you need? But that somewhere along the way, you lost access to those parts of yourself. You developed symptoms, patterns of thinking and behaving as an adaptation to your circumstances, stress, and the environment. Overtime this created more stress, emptiness, malaise, or living in lack of alignment with your truest self which led you farther and farther away from the life and the health you desire. As you make decisions that are out of alignment with your true self, over time, you manifest mental health or physical health symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, fatigue, anger, dissatisfaction, confusion, pain andor illness that are the result of having truest parts of yourself forgotten or denied. Any level of self-awareness has to be met with an even greater level of self-love, acceptance, and compassion. When you can reclaim, embrace, and express all parts of yourself, then you are truly home. It is my goal to guide you back to your natural essence, to teach you tools for self care, so that you can know, reclaim, and be in sacred relationship with yourself once again. Becoming whole again may not be so much about finding the right diagnosis or treatment, but a process of reclaiming and remembering something that already exists within you including what brings you joy, fulfillment, and purpose.
