My Approach to Helping
Are you someone who feels like they have been struggling with anxiety and depression for their whole life? Have you ever had thoughts like “There must be something wrong with me”, “My friends and family must think I’m a mess”, or “What is wrong with me that I can’t do the things I’ve always been able to do?” This may have brought on feelings of hopelessness, feeling alone, and feeling like things will never get better. It may have also brought on feelings of shame for not being able to “take care of the problem” or guilt for not spending time with family and friends like you used to.
I know that these thoughts and feelings are not easy to live with every day. It’s time to feel like yourself again. It’s time to reconnect with yourself and others in your life, and to get back to doing what you love. You are not alone in this! I want you to start feeling better and there are proven strategies to help you do just that-feel better!
My name is Jennifer Plisko, LCSW and I have been helping people like you for the past 20 years find relief from anxiety and depression.
