My Approach to Helping
You are here because you are ready to make a change. Your sense of being overwhelmed has gotten to a point that you're reaching out. I am here to help you realize the life you want - less anxiety, less depression, less stress. I am here to guide you towards a life with more self-confidence, more serenity, and more perspective.
We will work together to find what works for you. Maybe it's setting boundaries for yourself and/or your relationships, maybe it's more time devoted to self-care or maybe it's processing past events that impact your current life. Whatever your path may be, I am here to ensure you are not walking it alone.
You can expect sessions to be a combination of supportive, encouraging, and challenging. I will help you understand thought patterns that may be contributing to feelings of anxiety, depression, and stress. I also advocate for finding moments of self-care, even in the busiest times. I often teach basic mindfulness skills - skills that allow us to be in the present moment.
