My Approach to Helping
I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University in 1999 and a Master’s of Education in Community Counseling from The University of Dayton in 2006.
I am trained in EMDR and my past clinical experiences include diagnosis and treatment of behavioral and mood disorders in adults, children and adolescents in both community and office-based settings. I also offer specialized work experience with managing chronic pain, trauma, employment issues, adoption and foster care. I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in private practice since 2011. I utilize various techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and client-centered therapy. I focus on development of positive communications strategies and interventions. I am comfortable providing treatment using telemedicine as well as in-person.
Let me help you help yourself.
