My Approach to Helping
I take a collaborative and strengths-based approach to work with clients, which includes a holistic view of healing and growth, from a humanistic perspective, including mindfulness practices, to facilitate creativity and change. My clinical specialties and focus includes: fertility, blended family relationships, divorce, grief, trauma, childhood abuse, addictions, body image, life transitions, health psychology, gender and social identity development, career exploration, self-esteem, women's issues, spiritual development, and multicultural challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and groups.
My Role as a Therapist
I am here to help you along the path. You are in charge of your life, and I'm simply here to help guide you through a process of listening and reflecting what I hear as your deepest values and needs. I enjoy using a multitude of approaches as required along the way. With a background in mindfulness and meditation, I offer a quite space for you to share your troubles, concerns, and desires. Additionally, I find that my greatest strength is in helping people through life transitions, but many continue to stay on as they find the regular session to be a space where they can reflect and carve out time to have the focus on them.
