My Approach to Helping
I am dedicated to helping each client grow as a person, to feel better as a whole, and ultimately obtain a healthier and happier life. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them solve challenging situations in which clients can express their feelings and begin to develop skills to manage life stress, crisis situations, anxiety, depression, and more. I draw from various evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, stress reduction techniques and more.
My role as a therapist is to collaborate with you and empower you to feel safe and comfortable, help you express different issues, thoughts and emotions that are getting in the way of your happiness. I will actively listen to your story and experience and help you transform your problems. I will assist in reducing any undesired emotional behaviors to help you feel more stable, feel better about yourself and your past or present situation. As your therapist, I enjoy seeing the progress made over time.
