My Approach to Helping

Jenny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. Operating through a trauma-informed lens, Jenny believes that we all can experience positive growth and change when we learn to let go of the control that negative past experiences have over us to little by little create the future we want for ourselves. Jenny’s primary focus in care is providing a warm, empathetic, and validating environment for her clients.

Jenny believes in taking a client-centered and strengths-based approach to treatment, meaning that you are at the center of the decision making in your care and that therapy is focused around building on your own personal strengths. This method creates a therapeutic partnership where the process is tailored to your specific needs.

Jenny creates a therapeutic approach that includes the use of evidence-based models, such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy and pairs them with concepts in stress reduction and mindfulness to offer a unique therapeutic experience utilizing proven methods of treatment.
