My Approach to Helping
I am a trauma-informed, cognitive, behavioral therapist. I work with people dealing with depression, anxiety, family stress, parenting, work stress, relationship stress, trauma, and addictions.
My relationship with my client is informed by attachment theory, positive psychology, and solution-focused psychology. I come to my therapy practice as a second career after many years in the public sector working with addiction treatment.
Over the years, I have interacted with a wide variety of people who had a wide variety of issues and circumstances. I am known for being empathic, honest, insightful, and a relentless cheerleader for my client’s growth and happiness.
