My Approach to Helping
I am an LPC who is driven to help people who need a better understanding of life stressors and their ability to manage their mental well-being. I have worked in community mental health for over 5 years in many different settings including in-home therapy and residential settings. My focus on helping clients understand their diagnosis and developing coping skills and increasing mindfulness and awareness has proven itself time and time again. I use self-regulationmindfulness (DBT) along with CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Therapy as well as other proven modalities.
