My Approach to Helping

My work with clients is two-pronged: helping them develop a deep connection with themselves and with others.

What I mean by developing a deep connection with themselves is that we work to broaden awareness of emotions, thoughts, and sensations. The reason being, the more we can sense our feelings, thoughts, and what's happening in our body- the more choice we have! With a deep awareness of where we are, we can easily move toward wherever we'd like to be.

Additionally, I believe that being in relationship and connection with others is key to living a nourishing life. The connection between me and my clients is very important, as well as the connections that my clients have outside the therapy room. However, I know that there are so many barriers when it comes to developing deep connections with others. My clients and I do a deep exploration of what barriers might show up for them.

My goal is to empower my clients to shore up their innate resources, while also helping them see the invaluable healing power of human connection.

More Info About My Practice

My fee for a 50-minute session is $110 and I do not take insurance at this time. Payment is due at the end of each session. My cancellation policy requires at least 24-hours notice. Otherwise, the full session fee is charged.

A Bit More About Me
I'm a Registered Associate MFT, which means that I graduated a Master's program in Clinical Psychology and I'm seeing clients as I am collecting hours toward licensure (which take 2-3 years after graduation). I work under the supervision of Jill Drenth, Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

My Role as a Therapist

Ultimately, what I know more than anything else is that you are the expert of yourself and you have access to an unlimited source of wisdom within yourself. I'm here to hold the lantern as you explore and (re)discover the rich resources that live within.

Groups I Work With

Most of my clients struggle with anxiety andor depression, some having a history of trauma. That being said, each of my clients come from very different walks of life and present with unique types of struggles.
