I am a solution-focused therapist, integrating holistic healing modalities to help individuals reach total wellness. The importance of addressing all areas of life is important to achieving your goals. The mind-body-spirit connection is essential to address in order to find complete balance.

While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By utilizing complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will discover the things that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is as a collaborative partner and coach. I don't have all the answers, but I can help you discover the answers you need to move forward in your life. Together we will create a wellness plan that will help you reach your goals and live the life you want.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

Not every therapist is a fit for every client. It is important for you to take the time to ask questions and "interview" your therapist ahead of time. Your potential therapist will answer any questions you may have to ensure you are a good fit. Remember, you will be working with your therapist on your goals, so it is important that you are able to build a good rapport with them. Don't be afraid to be honest with your therapist. If something is not working, say so! They can't help you if they don't know they need to do something different. Also, don't be afraid to be honest if it is not working. Remember, a therapist's goal is to help you, so if the relationship is not working they need to know. Often they can refer you to someone who may be a better fit if they know what the barriers are to your connection. So, the most important element of the client-therapist alliance is honest communication.
