My Approach to Helping
My goal as a psychotherapist is to provide evidence-based interventions for individuals who are struggling and seek to make positive changes in their lives. I believe that every living being has inner strengths that give them the ability to be resilient, as well as flexible. However, stress and trauma can cause us to develop negative views of ourselves and the world, provoking a sense of hopelessness.
As a therapist, I hope to encourage individuals to explore their emotions and utilize their inner strengths and resources to manage stressors or maladaptive behaviors. I believe that a therapeutic alliance is an essential factor in the healing process; therefore, my commitment is to help and support individuals by providing a safe environment where feelings and thoughts can be expressed freely, without judgment. My focus is to guide you in empowering yourself to improve your mental health, and ultimately, your overall well-being.
