My Approach to Helping
I am a long-term student of human nature, owing in part to a skill learned in neurodivergence. I practice, therefore, from a place of both expertise and my human experience. I use in my practice both strength-based counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as a variety of other evidence-based therapies. I am an expert in a wide variety of problems, from addictions, to trauma and Domestic Violence, to anxiety and depression, to name a few. I've worked in severe mental illness in clinical psychology. I've worked as a social worker with homeless people, with elderly people, and with people with schizophrenia. Above all, I'm an expert in instant rapport, where I meet my clients where they are, where you are, and we begin from there.
