My Approach to Helping
Learn practical skills for dealing with anxiety, depression, and anger. Adults and children who work with me develop strategies for thoughts, emotions, and physical reactions that interfere with living their best lives.
It’s not easy to reach out for help, so I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment in which you can feel free to open up and share your experience. You are not alone in dealing with difficulties and it takes a lot of courage to be able to face them. You’ll learn about what is affecting you, as well as all the skills and approaches you will need to be able to deal with it in a healthier way.
You’ll become able to help yourself, by being the expert in your own internal experience and knowing how to not let it stop you from achieving what you want. With therapy, you get out of it what you put in. Those who are motivated to face their challenges and learn skills for dealing with them find they make tremendous progress in developing the lives they have always wanted for themselves. If you’re not ready for this yet, that’s okay and completely understandable. When you are, I’ll be here for you every step of the way.
