My Approach to Helping

My clinical work involves treating clients with anxiety, depression, addiction, chronic relapse, maladaptive communication patterns, lowered self-esteem, LGBTQ concerns, co-dependency, unhealthy intimacy and maladaptive sexual behaviors, grief and loss, and men’s issues.

My approach to counseling is highly individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. I use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In most cases your first appointment can be scheduled within 48-72 hours.

My Role as a Therapist

My goal is to create a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Collaboratively we work together to identify your strengths, discover insights, and move toward your goals. With a warm and empathic approach, I focus on empowering clients to help them make positive changes to lead healthier lives.
