My Approach to Helping
It is important for me as a clinician to take a holistic approach to treatment. I believe that your mental health needs are just as important and your physical and spiritual health needs. The therapeutic process is about collaboration between the therapist and the client. As the therapist, it is my job to provide you a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to gain skills to manage your symptoms and life stressors, support you as you navigate the therapeutic process, and to encourage the change you wish to make in your life.
My goal is to support you as you begin the healing process, find empowerment, find self-awareness, restore and improve relationships, enhance communication, and find inner peace using a strength-based approach, psychotherapy, education, and symptom management.
