Fees: We believe in the importance of building relationships and provide free phone consultations and a 15 minute free face to face session to determine if we are the right match to help you with what you need. The cost of an individual session is $125hr. We do not accept health insurance because we feel strongly about protecting our client's confidentiality and privacy and do not want to 'label' people with diagnoses to justify their treatment to health insurance companies. We want to make mental health affordable and accessible for people and for this reason we provide a sliding scale. If you have questions please don't hesitate to call or email us.

My Approach to Helping

Emotional pain leaves behind questions that are hard to answer. I will be honored to help you in your search for meaning. I provide the safe and calm place you need to express your thoughts and feelings. My office can be the space where you leave behind your worries and stress to face the world with renewed strength. I am here for you whether you want to find relief from mental and emotional pain or simply identify goals.

It takes tremendous courage to be vulnerable in the presence of a stranger and to trust them. That is why I try my best to make this process as easy for you as possible. I offer free phone consultations and a free 15 min face to face session, to help you assess your therapeutic needs and to allow for the growth of a positive healing relationship.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am a candidate under training as an EMDR specialist. I completed my Masters in Counseling in 2012 from Southern Methodist University with coursework in child and adolescent counseling, crisis intervention and chemical dependency. I have extensive experience working in the field of trauma and addiction. I have worked in the Trauma Department at Timberlawn Mental Health Hospital under the Collin Ross Institute, with The Victim Intervention program at Parkland Hospital and most recently I was a residential counselor at Nexus Recovery Center.
