My Approach to Helping
Perhaps you maybe experiencing overwhelming feelings, struggling with work issues or you maybe feeling bereft about a relationship. Sometimes it can be very helpful to talk to a compassionate outsider to give you space to step back and process your feelings.
I will try and help you feel comfortable enough to talk openly with me about how you are feeling, life events that have affected you and your relationships.
The relationships we have with ourselves, others, and our feelings can fundamentally affect our quality of life. I would like to help you have a more secure relationship with yourself and those who are important to you.
I work integratively which means that I combine evidence based models of therapy that I think will be of most help to you. I am trained in CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), psychodynamic psychotherapy, EFT (emotionally focussed therapy) and systemic therapy.
I think therapy needs to be as easy to access as possible and so I offer online therapy, internationally, which is particularly helpful for people with busy schedules, family life, and childcare responsibilities and those who might struggle with travelling to appointments.
