My Approach to Helping
Sometimes in relationships, it can feel overwhelming, like communication impossible, the fighting is never-ending, or emotional detachment, distance, or numbness takes over. It takes courage to reach out for help in your relationship. You deserve a happy and loving relationship with your partner. I provide couples, pre-marital, and marriage counseling to help relationships address challenging life events, repair broken bonds, learn better ways to communicate and listen to each other, and ultimately re-establish their love.
In individual therapy, I address identity and life transitions, such as adjustment to changes in the family, overcoming a loss or grief, spiritual identity and transformations, Teens and young adults struggling to establish themselves, and LGBTQIA issues. Also, I provide therapy for those in need to overcome the challenges of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, anger, and depression.
With both individuals and couples, I focus on forming a safe and trusting therapeutic connection to uncover underlying issues and cultivate inner strengths. Therapy guides a growth in self-awareness and acceptance that is an important part of the healing process.
