My Approach to Helping
It is important to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients. Building a strong rapport with clients is essential for collaboration and growth. My approach to counseling is from a holistic viewpoint. I use an integrative approach to counseling. A few approaches I utilize most often are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Art Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. My approaches are tailored to specific client needs.
Self-Care is very important. In my free time, I love to go hiking, and exploring different nature trails. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
