My Approach to Helping
My approach to helping is that I meet my clients where they are. I prioritize building a safe space that allows authentic, vulnerable communication that nurtures positive change. I believe we all have the power to be happy and healthy, but that life’s challenges can erode our confidence in our ability to live the way we wish. Strong support from a great therapist can help you get back on track.
More Info About My Practice
I have much experience with young adults and teens on the autism spectrum, as well as those with learning disabilities and with IEPs who struggle with academic or emotional difficulties.
I have helped teens and adults address anxiety, master new life skills, manage depression, and cope with the stress of work and school. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, and mindfulness. I also offer adaptive life skills therapy, DIR/floortime therapy, and social skills coaching.
