My Approach to Helping
Hello, my name is Jamie and I am an associate therapist. I have a background working with individuals (children, teens, adults) and couples. I aspire to help individuals of all backgrounds confront current life stressors, past trauma and relationship struggles. I work with people from various cultural backgrounds with depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, parenting, divorce, single parent, and other personal issues. I emphasize creating a safe and open environment and providing treatment that is tailored to each individual person.
I use cognitive behavior therapy, but also utilize other methods in therapy that are tailored to your specific needs to help you reach your goals and to be able to manage a happy and healthy life.
It can be difficult reaching out for help, especially with a stranger. I want all clients to feel comfortable, which is why I have an open door policy to meet, get to know one another, and decide if you would like to continue without any strings attached.
