My Approach to Helping
It's wonderful that you took the first step to feeling better. Are you finding yourself overwhelmed by feelings of sadness? Maybe you often experience a general sense of discontent. Are you struggling with a major transition? Or perhaps you can't stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong. If you can relate to any of these scenarios, you're not alone. Many with similar concerns seek therapy to feel better. Therapy is a powerful medium that can provide many tools and strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges. I'd like to invite you to reach out to me to see if therapy could help you too.
For the last 7 years, I've worked with individuals facing a variety of concerns and challenges. I've worked with many individuals in the LBGTQIA+ community and have provided them with a safe and empathetic space to be authentically themselves. I’ve worked with survivors of sexual abuse and walked alongside them as they processed their trauma. I’ve also worked with youth in a school setting helping them work through academic issues, as well as concerns related to bullying, social relationships, parental conflict, self-esteem, and identity formation. I’ve worked with adults and helped them sort through marital issues, life transitions, and overwhelming feelings. I also have experience providing therapy in Spanish to monolingual clients. I pride myself on being open and accepting of everyone and have been fortunate to work with clients from all walks of life.
