My Approach to Helping
Are you struggling with mood, substance, or relational issues that feel overwhelming? Do you have a difficult time accessing your feelings? Whether it’s through traditional talk therapy or the use of art therapy, I am here to help you move through your barriers and make changes in your life! As a therapist I am genuine, authentic, and compassionate. I practice unconditional positive regard for my clients and radical empathy. I am passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to explore and work through the challenges that bring them to therapy.
My expertise resides in combining talk therapy with art therapy. I use my experience and training as an artist alongside my therapeutic and clinical training to connect with and understand my clients. I understand that incorporating art into therapy may feel daunting, however I tailor all therapy sessions to my client’s individual wants, needs, and goals.
I specialize in working with clients of all ages struggling with substance use issues, depression, anxiety, identity issues, and child of immigrant complexities.
