My Approach to Helping
I work best at helping adults, children and families understand their own or other people's feelings, motivations and desires, exercise more control and choice in their actions and experience more love in their relationships and in their relationship with themselves. I am typically an active therapist who firmly believes that much of the healing happens in the context of our relationship.
I am trained in many approaches from cognitive-behavioral to psychodynamic. I have particular specialization in treating relationship problems, trauma, depression, anxiety, behavior problems, attention disorders, and parenting issues. My approach is flexible, sensitive, and tailored to your individual needs, because no two people walk the same path of healing.
