Hillary Halpern

Licensed Psychologist (LP) & Health Services Provider (HSP-P)

Telehealth Available
Professions: Clinical Psychologist
License Status: I'm a licensed professional.
Primary Credential: Licensed Psychologist - 5924
Billing and Insurance:

I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Fees: I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not process insurance claims. I’ve made the decision to work this way because it keeps my administrative costs low, allowing me to give my full attention to my clients’ clinical needs.

I recognize that my out-of-network status limits my accessibility. I believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental healthcare, and I participate in economic justice work by offering free and reduced-fee services to folks who have experienced marginalization, andor to those navigating the transition to parenthood. Please contact me if you’d like to discuss utilizing my sliding scale.

My fee structure is as follows:
Initial phone consultation (complimentary)
90-minute diagnostic assessment & therapy intake session ($195)
60-minute therapy session ($165)
45-minute therapy session ($145)
Group therapy session ($50)
Consultation ($165hour)
Psychodiagnostic testing and assessment ($165hour)
Supervision (determined on a case-by-case basis)
Free Initial Consultation

My Approach to Helping

I specialize in supporting life transitions, including early parenthood, perimenopause and midlife awakening, and career changes, as well as personal evolution that comes with treating adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, disordered eating and body image concerns, and complex trauma. My therapeutic style is relationally-centered and skills-based, meaning that the alliance, respect and collaboration between client and therapist serve as crucial ingredients in the healing process in which I participate. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) inform the skillsets that I support clients in building. You can read more about me and my approach to therapy on my website.
