My Approach to Helping
It is a pleasure and an honor to help my clients find 'their voice' and learn how to better cope with life's stressors and go after what they truly want. My approach involves collaborating with my clients to help them clarify their goals and achieve meaningful change. I integrate multiple therapy approaches (e.g. CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, relational, mindfulness, etc.) with the latest research findings, and tailor it to each individual's unique needs.
I specialize in helping teens and adults with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and navigating academic/career and relationship challenges. My clients tend to be incredible, talented, and caring individuals that do not see these qualities in themselves. They often feel overwhelmed and fear disappointing themselves and others. I believe it takes great courage to pursue therapy and it can be an important step toward feeling better and living the life you want. In therapy, we will work together to help you develop your inner strengths, gain understanding about recurring challenges, practice helpful coping skills, and create a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
