My Approach to Helping
Life can be difficult to navigate. Finding the time and space for reflection on your own needs in this constantly-moving world is a challenge. Therapy is a time set aside to reflect on your own needs and values, a space where you can learn about yourself in a safe environment. Time that is focused only on you and your unique needs.
Whatever brings you to therapy, whether it is a life transition (such as marriage, career change, or starting school), helping you cope with the emotions that arise from stressful life situations, or clarifying values and goals therapy provides a supportive atmosphere for exploration.
I encourage you to take the first step in acknowledging that your emotional needs matter. Seeking help takes an enormous amount of vulnerability and courage. Together we will work toward greater awareness of your needs and values and identify changes you can make to positively impact your life.

I am currently accepting new clients for afternoon and evening appointments at my office in East Lansing.
I offer free 15 minute consultations over the phone. This allows you to hear my voice and help you to get a sense of my personality, as well as offering you the opportunity to ask me questions. I can also discuss insurance and payment options during this time.

I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People and introverts. The way that life is paced is not kind to those who are highly sensitive or naturally introverted. It is easy to become overstimulated and overwhelmed, constantly running close to or at empty.
My focus is to help you craft a life that works with your sensitivity, not against it. Together, we work to find your authentic self and set healthy boundaries so you can experience more balanced relationships.
