My Approach to Helping

Individuals seek counseling for varying reasons, experiences, and emotions in order to help alleviate pain, distress, and suffering within one's life. Seeking counseling can be scary and I applaud you for taking this step. My goal is to create a safe space for you to share your story so, together, we can create a more fulfilling, healthier, and happier life for you. If you are seeking and desire to make positive changes within your life, counseling can help. It is important to know that sometimes individual as are not ready to share their story or do not wish to retell the painful memories or experiences. Sharing of your story is not a must to heal as there are ways to heal and move through the pain by way of other counseling techniques. What is important to note is that YOU have the ability to improve your overall quality of life, and I would be honored to share this healing journey with you.

More Info About My Practice

I knew I had a passion for helping others and the counseling profession after experiencing a family tragedy when I was in the 4th grade. Since then, I have been on a mission to help allieviate pain, distress, and suffering in others. I have over 10 years of experience in the field. In that time I have seen many individuals, relationships, and families live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life after attending counseling sessions with me. I do not take the sharing of one's life story with me lightly, and feel honored when someone reaches out and allows me to help on their healing journey.

I have received extensive education and training in different treatment modalities, and am willing to pull from the techniques that will best help you reach your treatment goals. I believe in the mind/body connection and the importance of addressing you holistically for optimal healing; therefore, I offer trauma informed yoga techniques as an integrative approach to the counseling experience, if desired.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I provide individual, family, relationship, and group counseling, as well as supervision for LPC-Interns. I have experience working with many clinical diagnoses and populations and helping individuals, relationships, and families live a more fulfilling and authentic life. I would be honored to help you and/or your loved one on the journey of healing.
