My Approach to Helping

The journey of life can take many unexpected turns. It can be a daunting task, to ask for help when challenges arise, but if you do, it can lead you down a path of hope and healing. I focus treatment on embracing, adapting, and redefining the self while learning how to move forward with reflection, confidence, and acceptance.

I truly enjoy empowering individuals and families to regain their sense of well-being and self-worth, bringing balance and harmony back into their lives. I seek to provide a compassionate, supportive environment with direct and practical applications to help you live the life you desire. I have a holistic approach to treatment and believe that you are already whole, just needing some support to help you uncover your own strength and intuition to stand in your inner-power.

Through a variety of therapeutic modalities, we will work together to address unresolved loss, challenging outdated values and beliefs, identifying negative patterns of thoughts and behaviors, learning skills to promote more positive and effective ways of thinking, or confronting and overcoming fears. Your life journey can have challenges and struggles, but the transformation is possible. Contact me to let me be a part of your journey towards hope and healing.

My Therapy Focus

With over 15 years of clinical experience and specialized training in maternal mental health, I support moms who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders as well as parents affected by pregnancy loss, stress, marital strain, parenting conflicts, divorce, trauma and grief. I work to help mothers move through their profound personal journeys, recognizing that this identity shift evokes questions around purpose, roles, values, relationships, and beliefs.
Along with maternal mental health, I assist individuals and couples on their journeys to create a family, celebrating all structures and definitions of family. I can assist with grief and loss surrounding infertility, pre- and post-adoption, and other life transitions providing guidance and skills to move you towards balance and acceptance.
