My Approach to Helping
I believe in meeting people where they are in their desire to begin working on the struggles they are dealing with. It is important to me that a therapeutic rapport is developed so there is trust within the therapeutic relationship. I encourage people to look at how they have solved problems and/or concerns in the past and determine if any of those methods would help in the situation today. It is important to me that my clients feel empowered and encouraged about their ability to learn to manage and/or solve any issues or concerns they may have. Confidentiality is of utmost importance to me in my practice. There are some exceptions and those will be discussed with the client.
