My Approach to Helping
Everyone deserves to live a rich and meaningful life, but we all face challenges that can make this seem unattainable. I aim to help my clients make practical changes in their lives while also addressing the underlying emotional, psychological, and social issues that are interfering with their ability to thrive. I am especially experienced in working with depression and anxiety, relationship issues, and queer issues. I work with couples as well as individual adults and adolescents.
I use several evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, narrative, gestalt, and solutions focused brief therapy. tailor my approach based on the client's needs and goals. I aim to guide clients in gaining insight and learning skills that help them better utilize their strengths to make the changes they wish to see.
