My Approach to Helping
I know making the decision to seek professional care can be difficult. I offer a safe, comfortable setting where you can explore your concerns and find relief. Therapy is about making positive changes and experiencing personal growth. As we work together in each session, we will build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers you and helps you develop the emotional resilience and flexibility to succeed in your life.
My counseling style is person-centered and respectful. I am genuinely interested in hearing your story, your goals, and your motivations. I employ holistic techniques from a variety of empirically-supported modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused therapy.
I respect the fact that you are the expert on your own life. By working closely together, we can develop the ideal map to assist you on your journey to better health and lasting happiness.
