My approach in therapy focuses on exploring the connection of the mind, body and spirit where I incorporate science and mindfulness-based techniques that will help you understand the inner workings of the mind and their connection to your emotions, body sensations and behaviors. With this type of approach to therapy you will learn the following skills but not limited to:

- becoming aware of your thought patterns that affect your feelings and behaviors;
- increase moment to moment awareness that help decrease worried thoughts and depressive thoughts;
- decrease rumination, compulsive behavior and feelings of worthlessness;
- understand your fears and how these fears manifest in your current interactions;
- learn how to take control over your unwanted thoughts and unwanted painful feelings;
- increase interpersonal skills that will help establish healthy relationships with others;

The most important part of our work together is our therapist-patient relationship. I create a non-judgmental, trusting, empathic and welcoming environment to make you feel comfortable and safe in my presence. I will work with you in finding the skills that is best suitable to your needs. In therapy, we will use your past wounds to find the best and most beautiful parts of you.
