My Approach to Helping
You didn't expect life to feel this way. To everyone else it looks like you’ve got your shit together, but inside you feel like you’re on the verge of falling apart. Sure, you’re still going to work and still taking care of your responsibilities, but it’s getting harder and harder and you’re starting to feel like you’re drowning. This may be a newer struggle or you might not even remember a time when things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to feel less overwhelmed, for your mood and your relationships to improve, and to regain a sense of control over your life.
Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is warm and engaged because therapy should be a place where you feel heard and understood and where you also can get feedback about your situation. Sessions with me focus on helping you understand both the root of your struggles, and also what you can do to improve your functioning and feel better in your day to day life. Also, we will always go at your pace, never pushing to a place you don’t feel ready to be.
