What's My Approach to Therapy?
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, or the constant pressures of daily life? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I help adults who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, adult ADHD, caregiver burnout, and career burnout—including educator burnout. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment and begin creating meaningful change.
Sometimes our current circumstances can reopen old wounds and create even more challenges today. Together, we’ll work to make sense of those connections, uncover core issues affecting multiple areas of your life, and build strategies that foster healing and balance.
I take an integrative approach that includes psychoeducation, cognitive reframing, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and practical activities between sessions to support your ongoing growth.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 27 years in education as both a teacher and administrator. That experience deeply informs my understanding of stress, burnout, and the demands faced by educators and professionals alike.
I hold two graduate degrees: an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas–Arlington and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.
If you’re ready to start feeling more grounded and empowered, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
